It uses a standardised format of numbering under the ISO (International Organization for Standardization).<br \/>\nA country\u2019s National Numbering agency (NNA) is the authorised agency which issues, manages and monitors the ISIN.<\/p>\n<h2>ISIN Explained<\/h2>\n<p>An ISIN code or number consists of 12 alphanumeric characters.<br \/>\nThe first two are assigned by the company\u2019s country of origin.
